Holiday marketing strategies

Holiday marketing strategies

As the holiday season ends for most, I wanted to discuss holiday marketing strategies. As marketing managers and business owners, we know that understanding our audience is crucial.

During holidays like Easter or The Summer Holidays here in the UK, people tend to be in a spending mood, relaxing and shopping online.

Timing is everything in holiday season!

We focus on the right holidays that resonate with our B2B audience. Incorporate them into our campaigns, but we don't go overboard, balance relevance and creativity can be everything.

Now, when it comes to B2C sales, holidays can be a goldmine, especially for online and phone transactions. People have more time to shop around. However, for B2B, expect a decline as most Decision Makers are hard to find during holiday season.

For me, targeting different markets based on their respective seasons can be an advantage if operate globally. We have a current client who follows the sun selling to the audience of motorbike riders.

It's essential to gauge market sizes and potential returns!

Also, don't forget about staffing. We need to maintain the right levels during the holidays, or else our efforts could go to waste. Especially for those that sell over the phone.

Holiday marketing is a calculated risk. Let's take all these factors into account to make informed decisions that align with our brand and goals.

Next holiday season, let's use our expertise and creativity to make our marketing campaigns shine and connect with our audience in a way that brings outstanding results.
