Hollywood Spectra – the “X Factor” of Laser Platforms

We recently sat down with Dr Guy Erlich ahead of his talk at the Cynosure Lutronic European Laser Symposium to discuss his use of the Hollywood Spectra, his history in aesthetic medicine and his upcoming speech, “Enhancing Safety and Efficacy with EBDs in Dark Phototypes”.

Here’s what he had to say about his work at G2 Aesthetics with the Hollywood Spectra and the merger between Cynosure and Lutronic:

Tell us a little about yourself, Dr Erlich

“Where to start… I attained my general medicine degree from Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic, followed by an MSc Degree in aesthetic medicine and skin ageing from the University of South Wales.”

It’s safe to say, Dr Erlich always had an interest in aesthetic medicine – he is currently participating in his 2nd MSc programme in Clinical Dermatology at Buckingham University – forever the student!

He holds pivotal roles as aesthetic physician at the aesthetics divisions of Mehuedet Health Organization and at Hillel Yafe Hospital's Plastic Surgery Unit. Dr Erlich also serves as a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for esteemed international aesthetic companies and is a lecturer at international aesthetic conferences.

 “I treat almost every indication.

  • Face (injectables and EBDs) – pigmentation, texture, skin quality, acne, scars, rejuvenation, rosacea, hyperhidrosis.
  • Body – fillers, cellulite, stretch marks, scars.

In my clinics I have skin therapists that operate all EBDs, so I see many patients every day.”

What Cynosure Lutronic devices do you have?

“I work almost daily with the Hollywood Spectra. It’s the best and most effective QS-Lasers in the market, versatile and safe. I call it my “X factor”, I use it both as stand-alone and in combinations with other EBDs and injectables, for many indications, resulting in the attraction of many new customers.”

Dr Erlich adds that his favourite thing about the Hollywood Spectra is “Its versatility, I use it for pigmentation, acne, rejuvenation, glow, scars, and tattoos removal.”

There’s very little that the Hollywood Spectra can’t do! With the shortest true nanosecond pulse width (5ns), 1064/532nm dual-wavelengths for enhanced Tx versatility and exclusive Spectra mode (0.3 ms), the Hollywood Spectra is the ideal tool for anyone practising aesthetic medicine.
