They're stealthily in the background of our global operations protecting our 1,400+ enterprise clients across 102 countries, 24/7, 365. These talented professionals share the same primary objective: to safeguard and ensure that a corporate network is able to meet the needs of the business. While the high-level details of their job objectives differ between the two teams, they deserved to be honored and recognized for their individual accomplishments and contributions at Comcast Business Masergy. They're the colleagues of our SOCs and NOCs - which to us are "Safeguard Heroes".

To peer into this highly secure world of operations behind locked doors, we tapped into the thought leadership of Masergy Vice President of Operations Support Chris Chorba for his feedback. No stranger to the vital responsibility of safeguarding our clients, he was thrilled to expose our superheroes for everything they bring to the NOC and SOC table. Today, we highlight our "Safeguard Hero" Director of UCaaS Operations Clint Barr.

"Clint has been with Comcast Business Masergy for almost four years. He leads the UC support team at our Plano, Texas, headquarters, Manila, and the UK. Clint is one of the hardest workers I have been around in the industry. He works day and night to make sure our customers are taken care of 24/7. Clint is not just a people manager...he is very technical and handles many complex calls with customers. He's also a team player and is always willing to help other groups. Clint cares about his people and leads by example. He would never ask one of his engineers to do something that he wouldn't do. Since Clint has taken over UC, our morale and key-performance indicators have improved. He is a proven leader with great results and we are lucky to have him on the team."

"When he has free time away from the work desk, Clint and his lovely wife Vivian love to go on walks with their dog Franky, who is one spoiled dog thanks to Vivian! They also love to play golf together and with family."
