Honoring our customer service professionals
It’s Customer Service Week, and I would like to take a moment to honor everyone in the Verizon organization who works to serve our customers, every day.
Customer Service Week is a global celebration of the importance of customer service, and an opportunity to recognize the people who serve and support customers on a daily basis. We celebrate this week internally every year – honoring those individuals who go the extra mile, and who exemplify the passion and commitment required to serve our global customers with excellence. They work tirelessly to ensure that we provide the best possible experience.
Our customers are our lifeblood. Our entire business is built around helping them to do business better, and enabling their success. This week is an opportunity to reflect on the myriad of ways in which our employees do this. And it’s important to recognize how many touchpoints we have with our customers – obviously, our fabulous service management teams, but also our sales teams, finance, marketing, communications, and so many more, all across our business.
Mainly, I’m looking forward to having some fun this week. It’s a week when we come together and celebrate as a team. We work hard in support of our customers every day, and this week is no exception – but this week we also work on our own team building.
Thank you to the global customer operations organization, and our sales and support teams for everything that you do. This week and every week, you help us deliver the best network, the best products and the best service. This week and every week, you help our customers do business better. You’re amazing, and I’m proud to work beside you.
