Honoring Women on International Women's Day
Dear Team,
Happy International Women’s Day! Today is a day for us to reflect on the experiences and accomplishments of the women who make an impact in our lives and to accelerate efforts around the world for gender parity.
In 2020, Lenovo met its female executive representation goal of 20%, as reported in our 2020 Diversity & Inclusion Report. I am proud of Lenovo’s consistent efforts to ensure that women are represented in our workforce. We have developed and empowered women who are ready for executive leadership through the Women’s Leadership Development Program. We are also lucky to have the continued inclusive programming of Women in Lenovo Leadership – otherwise known as our WILL employee resource group – and their many chapters around the world. I am deeply grateful for the WILL leaders who have continued to empower and connect their colleagues throughout the challenges of the past year through local and global programs that increase inclusion.
I would not be where I am today were it not for the allies, sponsors, and mentors who have guided and supported me along my own journey – and I know many of you have experienced the same value from such relationships. These supportive figures are important for anyone’s success, but especially critical for under-represented populations.
By recognizing the women champions in our lives – and their allies – we join the millions around the world who are celebrating the achievements of women today.
You can learn more about how to be an ally to women on Lenovo StoryHub. Also on StoryHub, we’re proud to revisit the 10 young women featured in Lenovo IDG’s New Realities project and see their progress after receiving support from Lenovo.
Thank you to all women at Lenovo whose leadership, perspectives, and achievements are so important to our efforts to build a smarter future for all.

3yIt has been 2.5 months and the premium care team still has yet to resolve my y550 laptop issue, pretty much needs a replacement after all the repairs and diagnostics it’s been through. i have never dealt with a repair issue that takes this long, it’s unbelievably inconsiderate and time consuming. I have no laptop to work from home, just a nice 17” paper weight
