How to be 30 % more efficient while EXTRUSION?

AC Motor:  45 kW, 1.470 rpm,  292 Nm,  IE2 – run by driver, Motor efficiency % 93.1 

  •  Gearbox:  ratio 1: 9,64 - Output of Gearbox -  152 d/d    2.844 Nm (theoretical torque)

SQME Synchronous torque motor ( SQME 250-500 )

  •  45,7 kW - 150 rpm,  2.910 Nm run by driver

PS: The water cooling enterance is existing on the gearbox. However, it declared that the heat rejection can be from the body up to 58 kW. This issue was not included in to the efficiency measurement.

Hioki Network Analyzer measured voltage, current, cos j, active and reactive power, harmonics of voltage and current on each phase of the motor and ambient temperature, winding and motor body temperature were measured and recorded during the whole test period.

Torque sensor converted the torque in Nm into +/- 0 – 10 V and was connected to the network analyzer.
