PwC announces a strategic alliance with OpenAI and Harvey

Back in October, PwC’s Global Tax and Legal Services announced a strategic alliance with OpenAI and Harvey to deploy AI foundation models for its tax, legal, and human resources services.

PwC has taken a big step beyond its previous agreement with Harvey by announcing its adoption of ChatGPT Enterprise for general use within PwC UK. This move represents a major development for the company and highlights its commitment to leveraging advanced technology to enhance its operations.

PwC has provided its 8,400 partners and staff with access to a custom-built virtual assistant named ChatPwC. The assistant can format data, write code, summarize meetings and documents, and compose emails. After a successful six-month trial including over 1,000 employees, all PwC staff accessed this new generative artificial intelligence tool. 

Pipefy launches AI-powered HR automation solution to improve Employee Experience

Next up we look at Pipefy , already a leader in the AI space. Pipefy’s AI for HR delivers instant and centralized access to policies, forms, data, and other information frequently requested from HR teams.

Pipefy found in a recent survey that 79% of business and IT leaders said that they expect to increase efficiency by at least 25% thanks to the combination of artificial intelligence and process automation – like Pipefy AI.

Pipefy's AI for HR provides employees with a unified portal that allows them to access the information and documents they require for daily use. The tool enables them to submit requests such as vacation time or reimbursements.

The chatbot functionality enables employees to inquire about other HR topics like available job positions within the company or company policies. The chatbot supports multiple languages and is accessible on any device, ensuring convenience and accessibility for all employees.

Walmart launches My Assistant accessible to 50,000 employees  

Walmart teamed up with Microsoft to create My Assistant, a generative AI-powered tool, for all non-store U.S. employees accessible through Me@Campus, the company's employee app. 

Walmart aims to improve the digital shopping experience, by building generative AI into its search function to deliver customers a helpful and intuitive browsing experience. McKinsey reports AI will create $400-660 billion in value for the retail and consumer goods industry. While FTI Consulting data shows nearly 80% of online shoppers believe AI personalization can enhance their online experience.

The new capability is designed to understand the context of customer queries, generating personalized responses. Customers will soon have a more interactive and conversational experience by receiving answers to specific questions and personalized product suggestions.
