How to Attract A Constant Flood of Your Best Customers 🧲

How to Attract A Constant Flood of Your Best Customers 🧲

Who do you need to be to attract your best customers?

I know how it feels to be doing all the “right” things—posting consistently, engaging on social media, maybe even running ads—without any real results to show for it.

Attracting your best customers isn’t just about taking action. It’s about being the person they can confidently buy from today.

Let’s talk about how you can become that person.

The problem? Misalignment between you + your best customers.

It's easy to think about who you want to attract as a customer.

  • They value your expertise.
  • They invest without hesitation.
  • They do the work to get results.
  • They share you with their network.

What we rarely do is ask who we need to be to attract them.

So, ask yourself: “Do I show up as the kind of person they would want to hire?”

Are you providing enough value with your free stuff to make them excited to invest in your paid offers?

Are you speaking to their desires, showing them proof of your expertise so they can envision their success, and creating sharable content?

This is the work!

Your energy, messaging, and presence will either attract or repel your ideal clients.

If you’re coming across as:

  • Generic, you’ll attract people who question your authority.
  • Feature-heavy, you’ll attract customers who haggle on price.
  • Inconsistent, you’ll attract clients who are disorganized themselves.

On the other hand, if you’re confident, clear, and aligned with the transformation your clients want, they’ll see you as the best answer to their most urgent problem.

The solution? Becoming a magnet for your best customers.

So, how do you align who you are with the customers you want to attract:

1. Decide who you love to support

I'm sure you can serve a lot of people, but I want to know the one person you would wake up everyday feeling JAZZED about serving over and over again.

Who is that?

  • What is happening in their world now?
  • What results are they looking for?
  • What do they value most?

The more clear and specific you can be, the easier it is to make content that speaks to their soul (and the easier it’ll be to close them).

2. Get clear on who they want

Your best customers aren’t just buying your offers—they’re buying you.

  • What makes you so great?
  • What can you do that no one else can?
  • How will you make their lives better today?

If you want to date someone fit and financially free who treats their family well, you better be doing the same (or working towards it)!

We don’t buy from people who don’t either already have what we want or share the values and behaviors we embody. It’s a mismatch.

3. Become obsessed with your own stuff

We want to work with confident people and love themselves!

This doesn’t mean you have to love everything you do all the time, but it requires interest in your work and how you show up.

It demands that you prioritize things like:

  • Working with people who light you up
  • Showing up powerfully and authentically
  • Enjoying the process, not just the outcomes
  • Investing only in the things you genuinely enjoy

Don’t waste another second on anything that depletes, depresses, or deflates you—we’re here for the good stuff only! And I mean all of us :)

4. Create magnetic messaging

We’re thinking more about us than we are about you, and that’s a good thing! Once you follow steps 1-3 above, creating content that mirrors the thoughts, feelings, and desires of your best customers is simple.

If you’re still feeling unclear on the “how,” here are some quick tips:

  • Speak directly to them. Use phrases like, “Ever feel like…” or “I know you’re someone who…” to connect more quickly (and more emotionally).
  • Focus on the good. Use language like, “Imagine how it would feel to…” or “I see you working toward…” to make them feel seen and appreciated.
  • End with a clear next step, whether that’s booking a call, sending a message, or taking an independent action.

5. Make it easy to say "yes"

Your best customers are very likely being courted by others—not to mention how busy they are (because they’re already making big moves)!

Even if they want to work with you, they won’t unless it feels simple to do and easy to achieve their desired outcomes.

Here are a few ways to remove barriers and make it feel like a no-brainer:

  • Show them the process. The more clear it feels, the more likely a “yes” is. While you’re at it, get rid of any unnecessary steps or friction.
  • Strengthen your offer. When their objections are minimal and you overcome any that linger in your sales messaging, they’ll say yes quickly.
  • Break it down. They don’t need a long list of steps to take, just the next step. If you can provide the best, smallest action that comes next, they’ll be more likely to convert.

Focus less on building trust and creating value, they’re too generic.

Spend all of your time and energy on eliminating any confusion and relieving feelings of hesitation. This naturally creates more ease and belief that you’re the one they want and there’s no reason to wait.

The results? A flurry of totally amazing, dreamy customers.

When you become the person who attracts only your best customers, everything about your business gets easier:

✅ Sales calls convert quickly because they’re already a “yes”

✅ You stop feeling pushy because they’re asking how to buy now

✅ Your content is easier to make—and gets more engagement—yay!

So, now I want to invite you to take a simple step towards attracting more of your best customers.

Take 10 minutes and do this exercise:

  1. Write down 3 qualities of your next best customer
  2. Write down 3 qualities you need to have to attract them
  3. Commit to ONE change that brings you closer to them based on your findings

Let’s make sure your dream customers don’t just find you—they need to feel like they can’t wait to work with you and have a simple way to do so when they’re ready!

This gives me a lot to think about. There are some commonalities between my clientele that are not a function of my messaging. I assume these things are more a function of how I show up and who that tends to attract. Another big takeaway for me is asking whether I make it simple for them to know what I offer and how to enroll. A couple of changes I could make immediately come to mind! I don't think I'm consistent enough in letting them know. And it doesn't mean you have to be obnoxious to be consistent, right?

This immediately reminded me of how they say to attract the partner you want, make a list of all the qualities you want in them, and then become them so you'll attract that person!
