How to Build an 8-Figure Business
Did you know there’s a HIDDEN SECRET that can give you the confidence to:
Before I reveal the secret, let me tell you a quick story…
Many years ago, I was given the opportunity to become a speaker and trainer for Tony Robbins and Chet Holmes at Business Breakthroughs International. They handed me a 2.5-hour workshop script and said, "Here you go… learn it."
So, I did exactly as I was told.
And guess what?
Crickets.
I gave 2-3 trainings per week, but I didn't close a SINGLE Entrepreneur into their $5,000 Ultimate Business Mastery program. My confidence was shaky, despite having built two 8-figure businesses over the previous 10 years.
Now, this story isn’t unique to me…
According to a recent study by Harvard Business Review, even top-performing CEOs experience self-doubt. What separates the successful ones is their ability to manage and overcome it—And THAT’S the hidden secret.
Confidence isn't about never doubting yourself; it's about managing those doubts effectively. It’s about finding resilience in uncertainty, and it starts with these 3 strategies:
Strategy #1: Focus on Your Mindset
Your mind is like a garden; what you plant and nurture will grow… so make sure you’re always planting seeds of confidence and positivity. I did this by revisiting an audio program I bought when I was 16 that teaches how to do exactly that.
I listened to it twice a day back then, and it reminded me that belief in yourself is everything. This consistent reinforcement helped me rebuild my confidence from the ground up.

Strategy #2: Focus on Serving
I stopped worrying about closing deals and started caring about truly serving those I was training. Because when you genuinely aim to help others and provide value, it creates a natural confidence that resonates with people. They can sense your authenticity and are more likely to trust and invest in what you’re offering.
The Tenach (Hebrew Bible) explains it best:
"And you draw out your soul to the hungry, and an afflicted soul you sate, then your light shall shine in the darkness, and your darkness shall be like noon."
Isaiah 58:10
Strategy #3: Be Authentic
I stopped following the script word-for-word and instead infused my personality and experiences into the training. After introducing Chet and Tony, I asked the audience if they wanted to know a little about me, why I’m here, and why I’m qualified to share this information. They always said yes, so I shared what I had built along with my personal stories and struggles. This one little shift changed everything.
Because at the end of the day, people connect with stories and authenticity. So by going off-script and showing your true self, you can build deeper connections and trust with your audience.
After implementing these 3 strategies, my confidence soared. As a result, Entrepreneurs began investing in the business growth program, and soon, students were even requesting me to be their personal coach.
Within 90 days, I was enrolling people at the highest levels ever seen in the company—A 63.4% increase over the previous average enrollment rate!
And the success didn't stop there; it kept growing.
So, the next time you’re experiencing self-doubt due to an unexpected failure, refer back to these 3 strategies.
Remember that confidence isn't about never doubting yourself; it's about managing those doubts effectively.
To your success,
David
