How To Change Habits With Emotional Intelligence
Today, EQ is a hot topic of discussion in business. As we apply EQ principles to organizational development, employee performance increases. We must, however, be open-minded when discussing new breakthroughs when exploring the relationship between EQ and mental health.
As we progress through life, our ability to manage emotions increases and decreases, according to my independent research. Despite the fact that we all like to think that the growth mindset is the key to success and happiness, the truth is that the journey of life habits ultimately determines our success and happiness.
The analysis of today's emotional intelligence will now be handed over to Tony Robbins, who explains how habits are formed through strong neuro-associations within our nervous systems.
"This nero-association is a biologial reality-it`s phscial. Again this is why thinking our way into change is usaully inefftivce, our neuro-associations are a survival tooland they are secured in our nervous systems as physical connections rather than as intangible "memories." Tony Robbins
Essentially, Tony is talking about brain training for action - when we indulge in any pattern of behavior, the stronger it becomes.
The brain produces new neural pathways as we move through different events in our lives. Anyone can build their own self-guided system of learning interactions. However, the fundamental flaw here is that as new pathways are created, all the associated pain barriers and bad memories attach to the strain of the pathway. Tony and his coaching team use a concept called Results Coaching, where we talk about the results you want - but first we address some of the mental pathways that might be inhibiting you from reaching them.
Additionally, many coaches will use the same concept to drive you into a results culture, which is fine to an extent. However, one cannot define one's life through action alone since trauma will always arise. Therefore, new and old paths will always be created both unconsciousely and consciously.

Of course, you'll have to determine what those bad habits are. Smoking or losing weight might be your goal - so the bad habit now becomes a focal point. Our knowledge of fitness can be increased by watching a video or joining a gym. Indeed, at this point of getting rid of the bad habit - for example, being overweight and drinking too much alcohol - we move into learning more about ourselves. There may be some undercurrent issues that erode the intensity of the neral pathways that previously existed - but we are still locked into the EQ system. The good news is that we are now slowly remoulding our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
EQ will increase and decrease throughout life, so you'll have to have strong emotions so you don't overthink things - which is difficult for many of us. There are many reasons why the brain thinks and triggers off thoughts - the trick is to accept that. For instance, if you're trying to lose weight, it will take time even if you set a target of 2 stone or 20 pounds. As a result, use more empathy, kindness, and self-compassion. By practicing EQ, habits can be broken. Although EQ is a huge topic, I want you to simplify it by memorizing the following definition:
Emotional Intelligence = the ability to manage and understand my emotions
By simplifying the process of learning new thoughts and understanding that habits can be built or lost over time, you can achieve many things. As we all know, life is full of surprises - but by practicing emotional conditioning, which is what I and Tony encourage you to do, we become much more efficient as humans. We all can experience different emotions every single day - through what we do or what others throw upon us - so learn to accept that, and that we don't always have to be the smartest person in the room. You are a lifetime learner of your EQ, and your emotional intelligence does indeed fluctuate, as stated earlier. As a final note, I leave you with the following:
"A man can change the course of his life at any time - he just has to use his EQ to do it."
