How to create new habits of thoughts

According to the philosophical understanding and scientific principles of quantum physics, neuroscience, epigenetics, neuroplasticity, social Psychology we now understand that our subjective mind influences the objective word, and we have brain scans that are proving that.

Today I want to talk about how to create our habits of thoughts :

Happiness

Gratitude

Love

Feeling Empowered

Feeling Abundant

Feeling Healthy

Feeling Unlimited

See it all comes down to the habit of thought! Happiness is a habit of thought same is depression is also habit of thought. Health is a habit of thought same as sickness is a habit of thought.

Riches is a habit of thought same as poverty is a habit of thought.

Very poor people become Rich and Happy because they made a habit of thought of being Rich and Happy before they became Rich and Happy. In other words they had a good knowledge how to master their mind and their brain and create habits that serves them not ruins them.

Everything is down to two things words we tell to ourselves and pictures we make in our head. If you just become consciously  aware of your habits of thoughts and what you are thinking 24/7 what pictures you are making in your head you will see why you are not happy, healthy, fulfilled, why you don’t have money, why you are attracting wrong relationships or why you are feeling unloved.

Remember Your thoughts control your feelings, when you feel you choose and when you choose you make decision and create emotional experience which leads to your behaviour. And then loop back your body feels certain way , feeling produces same thoughts and same choices , same behaviour which leads to the same emotional experience and everything in your biology, neurocircuitry , your hormones even your gene expression stays the same. You are running in a loop of thought Like hamster in wheel.

First you make your habits and then your habits make you! You make your belfies and then your beliefs make you.

All habits no matter how large or small have three components according to neurological studies.

There is a cue- a trigger for a particular behaviour – a routine which is the behaviour itself, and a reward which is how your brain decides whether to remember a habit for the future.

So if you want to create new habit you need to do things you don’t like, doing them FIRST. This is the rule number one of all successful people. Understand that our mind is hard wired to keep us in familiar because the instructions are coded in our genes. So then to master your mind you need to give it clear instruction and do it first thing in the morning , this way you will start to reprogram your autonomic nervous system, and your neurobiology, neurocircuitry, genes will start to change. You will start to adopt new habit, new behaviour , new way of feeling and thinking.

This applies to anything what is it you want ?

Lose weight, become more confidence, create financial freedom, feel loved, feel happier , have job of your dreams, earn more money it all comes down to habit of thought. It is not enough for example to know with 5% of your logic that you are worthy of what you desire now you need to embody new habit of feeling worthy in your body, so your body needs to feel that you are worthy. So then you need to teach your body how to feel the feeling of being worthy what your mind logically understood.

Knowledge is for the mind and feeling is for the body. If they are incoherent your brain is incoherent and you are incoherent.

But when you repeat new habit of thought and feeling enough times not once or twice your body will become to believe that you are different person now and you will start behave in different way. This is how you change your habits and how you break the habit of being yourself.

Positive thoughts have a profound effect on behaviour and gens, but only when the are in harmony with subconscious program. And what is subconscious program it is your automated nervous system, it is your body because your body feels! This is what most people don’t realize and all their life they try hard to change their habits and never actually change their habits. Running like a hamster in a wheel.

Now negative thoughts have an equally powerful effect. When we understand how this positive and negative beliefs control our biology we can use this knowledge to create lives filled with love , health and joy.

The character of our life is determined not by our genes by our responses to the environmental signal that propel life.

For example you want to reduce stress and anxiety or depression I can tell you don’t need drugs. I have very strong opinion about drugs and speak my truth. I healed three autoimmune conditions using the power of my mind! And changing the habit of thoughts I had.

Drugs and surgery are powerful tools when they are not overused. Drugs never treat the root of the cause of the problem they are just quick fix of one symptom  for short period of time. Every time a drug is introduced in the body to correct function A, it inevitably throws off function B, C or D. It is not gene-directed hormones and neurotransmitters that control our bodies and our minds, our beliefs control our bodies and our minds and our lives.

So when you create a new habit of thought you will create new belief you will start to build new neuro-circuits in your brain , you will be pruning new synaptic connection. And from neuroscience we know that synaptic connection in the brain can be strengthened when we think a new thought, learn something new and create new habit of being and feeling. We even create new neurons it is like being reborn.

So for example you say that you are kind of person that can’t mediate.

First you need to ask yourself question is it I Can’t ? or I rather Won’t because if you can’t you are victim trying to blame something or someone in your environment you are giving your power away if you say that you Won’t you take responsibility for your choice.

Now it doesn’t matter if it is meditation or any other habits like doing regular exercise or becoming more conscious of your unconscious thoughts and feeling, or habit of reducing chocolate in your diet. Whatever it is, you need to instruct your mind and do it first thing in the morning even if it is 10 min for the first time you do it for the week for 10 minutes , your body will start to feel the feeling of reward it gets from that habit and with enough repetition your body will crave for it and it will become your new habit.

I started to practice meditation 3 years ago and when I did first time my mind was like a room of three years old . I did it anyway for 10 min , then I increased to 20 and I started to be better at it. And now it is my routine, my habit doesn’t matter what is happening I’m going to do meditation. If I don’t practice meditation in the morning and evening I’m feeling off, like something doesn’t feel right. Because it is my new habit and reward system is attached to that habit.

We are creatures of habits. One thing I want to emphasise whatever habit you are trying to change you can’t blame your mum or your dad for genes. Because we know in neuroscience that  we can change our genes it is called epigenetic. I’m not going to talk about it today. You just need to know that you can change your genes. And if you are choosing to blame it is just your choice.

When you change your habit new experience assemble new neural networks, that experience enriches the circuitry in your brain. As your body will process higher emotions of love and gratitude, worthiness then this experience creates elevated feeling and emotion . When it is activated, you are seeing with different eye with inner vision. You are not stuck in your Amygdala fight of fling response.

As we know, all perceptions are based on how the brain is wired from our experiences in the past. We don’t perceive things in our reality the way they are, we perceive reality the way we are.

So when you change the habit of being yourself your brain now is going to be able to perceive what has always existed but you have never before had the brain circuitry to perceive.

Until you can manage your emotions don’t expect anything great in your life. Until you understand what information they carry don’t expect anything to change for the better. Emotions are feedback mechanism and addiction is a coping strategy.  

So now to wrap it up.

What you may not know is that your responses your habits, perceptions to any particular situation depends on which level of the brain is in the so – called driver’s seat at that particular time.

Your Amygdala which is part of your limbic brain in the subcortical region of your brain is the part of your brain focused on survival fight or flight responses avoiding pain and seeking pleasure and immediate gratification

Your executive centre or medial prefrontal cortex in the forebrain is the more advanced part of the brain and responsible for your greatest self-governance and strategic thinking. It gives rise to greater planning, foresight, resilience, confidence, vision, leadership and your zone of genius.

So to make it a bit funny the emotions teenager having a tantrum, the angry driver in traffic, the aggressive boss, aggressive colleague, angry husband or wife who resents anyone who disagree with him or her , and the tearful family member who perceive they are the victim of family politics, are all likely allowing their amygdala or System 1 thinking to temporarily run their lives.

Compare this with Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, or successful entrepreneur like Peter Sage and other successful people all of who were likely governed more often by their executive centre System 2 thinking.

The first is reactive, the second is proactive

The first is about survival the second is about thrival

The first perceives they are the victim of their life and their circumstances , the second beliefs they are the master of their destiny their life, they are the winner.  

In other words every successful person learned how to master their mind and the habit of thoughts and feelings. They understand the rules of their mind and using them every day.

Mastering your mind doesn’t require lifetime.
