How do you use your words?

How do you use your words?

Proverbs 12:18 The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.

Have you ever said something and wished you could hit delete right away, or reach out and grab it before it 'leaves a mark'? When we 'speak before we think', we end up having to think of a way to fix the mess we just created. Words have meaning and affect that can change a person. I still remember the words from my past that knocked me down, but like the second part of the verse... I also remember the words that affirmed me, built me up, and encouraged me to move on. Use your words to build up others, don't believe the words that tore you down, and have a blessed day!
