How efficient are Recruiters in their jobs now?

What are the statistics of hiring between engaging and signing contracts with Recruitment or Headhunters firms? Have they found the right candidates always? Do they deserve the right commissions upon every job match?

So many job candidates have feedback that they are not able to find the right roles even after interacting and going for many interviews with Recruiters and HR Managers. And not being selected for the role/s are due to various factors. Hence, candidates now losing their enthusiasm to find jobs. They are pushed or pulled to be next generation Entrepreneurs. Are we cultivating right mentality among the young generation today?
