HOW TO EXPEDITE YOUR SUCCESS THIS NEW YEAR
Most of us can agree that living the life of your dreams requires planning, productivity, hard work, and persistence, and continuous progress. Wishes, dreams, and hopes will not weld your dreams into solid reality: hard work will. Success in anything is not an accident. It is the byproduct of your daily decisions to #GrowForwardNOW™. What do you want achieve this upcoming year? You can expedite your success in every category important to you this new year. With effort and persistence, you can live your best life for the rest of your life. Remember:
ALL SKILLS are learnable, ALL GOALS are achievable, and ALL THINGS are possible.
Getting ahead isn't going to happen unless you make it happen. Whether it's improving your health, earning a degree, launching a new business, or healing an important relationship, the hard work required to achieve your desired results must be put in before success shows up. Good things are often difficult, but great things almost always extremely challenging. Once you take 100% responsibility for your life, you expedite the maturity of your journey toward success.
If you want to expedite your success this new year, improve yourself daily.
Peter Drucker was one of the most widely-known and influential thinkers on management. He famously said, “The best way to predict your future is to create it.” This means that we need to take responsibility for our lives and the future we want to impact. This new year will be filled with progress once you take 100% responsibility for your actions and improve yourself each day. Where your attention goes, energy flows. Winners choose to be proactive in creating the future they desire one step at a time, and it begins with improving yourself each day. EMBRACE YOUR TRUE SELF to expedite your success this new year.
Expediting your success this new year requires you to live in alignment with who you are, not who you want people to think you are. Understanding your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and desires enables you to embrace your true self. When you are ready to discover your unique purpose, you make the decision to embrace who you really are and make progress against your SMART goals every day. Only then can you step into your personal power and grow. Know that you have 100% responsibility and control over your happiness, health, and daily progress.
UNDERSTAND YOUR ‘WHY’ to advance your success this upcoming year.
Your ‘why' is your purpose. Many people do not know what their purpose is for many reasons. The successful few people in each generation find their why through trial, error, persistence, and refinement. They learn to be intentional about their daily decisions, and act on their SMART goals that make progress toward fulfilling their purpose. My life mission is to engage, educate, and empower 3 billion people by 2084 to advance humanity. That is my ‘why’. What is yours? Millions of people fail to figure out what their ‘why’ is because they invest a lot of time, energy, effort, and emotions trying to be accepted by others. It is only when you decide that you are ready to discover your unique purpose that you step into your power.
Expediting your success means adopting the attitude of a winner who thinks like a person of action, and acts like a person of thought. Your success in this upcoming year depends on your ability to drive the decision to embrace your true self, and push progress past adversity. Other reasons for so many people failing to find their purpose is being distracted, defeated, stuck, or stagnate. Simon Sinek, author of Start With Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action was moved by people who impact the world. He believes that everyone knows what they do, some people know how they do it, but very few people have taken the time to think about why they do what they do. Additionally, those who are clear on their why are the ones who succeed. Take the time to understand and define your ‘why’, make some decisions, create a few powerful SMART goals, and commit to welding them into solid reality.
If you do work that you love, I promise that success will follow.
When our time is up, all that matters is what you have done, who you have impacted, and what you have left behind. Take the time to figure out and alignment with your purpose. Expediting your success this new year begins with every decision you make and every action you take today. Life is short, but the value you generate can last a long time. Be intentional by improving yourself, embrace who you really are, and act on your why. Somebody will be thankful for your sacrifices, and at the least, you will always benefit from them when they are purpose-driven. Create meaning in all that you do and you will soon discover a greater purpose within you.
