How founders can use AI tools to optimise their startups

Till a short while ago, AI was nowhere close to as relevant as it is now for the masses. With ChatGPT, outside of the gratifying personal experience a language-based AI tool offers, it seems rather obvious that this is going to change the way businesses operate. Especially startups.

USES OF AI TOOLS

Startups can accomplish so much more with language-based tech tools at a fraction of the cost. Let's dive into some ways you can substitute a part of your organizational machine with AI.

  • AI tools allow founders to extend their reach tremendously. As a virtual assistant, it is accessible through basic devices and the internet. This bot does not forget anything, which essentially means that scheduling your day and proofreading documents, on the go. Additionally, your company may employ fewer resources, which means more money for growth.
  • A lot of marketing functions can be managed efficiently with these tools. There are inventive AI tools that can create good-quality visual content for your posts, socials and website. These tools will also write out GTM (Go-to-Market) strategies for you, and make an optimised schedule. With a little capital and time spent on these tools, young startups can operate a lean marketing machine. Examples: screenwriter.ai, jasper.ai, acrolinx.com, copy.ai.
  • As a research and understanding tool, this is revolutionary. It may be obvious that professionals in the past have skimmed considerable wealth from their customers based on the lack of information. AI-based language tools change the game here. Legal, technical, operational and mathematical jargon can be understood in a much more coherent, and rapid manner. This means that startup founders can have a much deeper understanding of their businesses, and learn efficiently. Examples: Chatsonic, ChatGPT (free with google). Some other ones like Iris.ai are more extensive in utility but require a subscription.

CONCLUSION

The version referred to in this article is GPT 3.5. There is still much to see from the models yet to be released. AI is only growing in use-case with each model, each search and each user it interacts with. For startups, this means control over operations and marketing, with a completely different channel of resource optimisation.
