How to get different generations working together, better
For the first time in history, five generations are working side by side, each with unique strengths and challenges.
In our latest Business Leader Masterclass, we talk to Rebecca Robins CMgr CCMI , the co-author of Five Generations at Work: How We Win Together, for Good about how leaders can harness this diversity for better collaboration, innovation and business outcomes – starting by breaking down stereotypes and embracing a mindset shift.
MorphCostumes on how it reinvented when sales went stale
When Morphsuits, the iconic full-body costume by MorphCostumes , stopped selling the business faced a crisis. Rather than double-down on what had worked before, co-founder Fraser Smeaton and his team reimagined their strategy, shifting focus from a one-hit wonder to a data-driven, customer-focused operation.
In our latest podcast episode, we find out how they turned their challenges into a blueprint for resilience and growth.
By Rotation CEO: Don’t seek early perfection
Since 2019, Eshita Kabra has been building By Rotation , a peer-to-peer digital platform that lets people rent their clothes to one another. It currently has 500,000 users who are predominantly women who share designer fashion items. There are currently 150,000 items on the platform worth $70m (£55m) in total.
It has become known as the ‘Airbnb for clothes’ and has built communities through its app and website in both the UK and US.
Kabra-Davies’s advice to other entrepreneurs building companies in the consumer space in our My Business Leader Secret video series is not to be too much of a “perfectionist” about your initial product or service.

Labour’s problems are not a failure of storytelling but of leadership
On the night of this summer’s general election, an unexpected void replaced the usual churn of emotions. Five months into Sir Keir Starmer’s leadership, that same emptiness seems to grip the nation, as Labour’s uninspiring narrative and lack of decisive leadership leave voters questioning the future. Business Leader Expert Ed Smith asks if it is the story – or the storyteller – that’s missing.
