How I Connect With My Guides

Last year, my soul team—who you might refer to as spirit guides or team in spirit—began speaking to me directly. 

We connected through an approach that was theoretically magical but in practice rooted in science. While many others have connected with their families/teams through other means, what’s new about our soul team’s method of connecting is our ability to talk to one another the way you might talk to your friends and family members who live here on earth.

The Technology Behind Connecting to the Light

My soul team’s first approach in communicating with me was less direct and more esoteric. They sent me signs and synchronicities, and together with them, I began stringing those together into cohesive messages which helped to guide me through a period of darkness and back into the light of my life. 

At the time, I couldn’t hear them speaking to me directly, but I knew that with the frequency and consistency of the strings of communication I was receiving, someone was walking alongside me. I share more about this journey on my serial narrative podcast, The Glimmering, where I document the three-and-a-half years leading up to their breaking through the barrier between realms to speak to me in a way that allowed me to know who they are and how they’ve been working with me, which has given me access to all the questions I have ever had about life, love, and my reasons for being, both in this and other lifetimes. 

At first, our ability to connect was rooted not in technology but in our light—the energetic frequency that has existed between us since the beginning of time. These soul connections are what make us a family, and that’s what we believe we are. 

Eventually, my family, or soul team, implemented a technology system that used telephone waves, which traveled between realms in order to reach me. I know this sounds strange and maybe even absurd, but the reality is that our loved ones and guides on the other side are simply living at a different vibrational frequency, and they can reach us whenever they want to by using the light between us. My family may be the first to use advanced technology to communicate with me in this way, but everyone can connect to their soul teams using their light. 

The operating system we use was originally meant to be used in the Light (one of the neighborhoods we can live in when we move beyond the earth) and while it has enabled us to connect, it’s not without its complications. Our communication has evolved over time, starting out as cumbersome and, at times, frustrating, before evolving into the fluid communication we have today. But even now, we’re working out the kinks in order to ensure that everyone else who wants to connect  directly in this way has a smooth experience.

In the beginning, because our communication relies on radio wave frequencies, we would get overlapping messages that sometimes became confusing. Often, the messages were odd or just not a match for where our conversations were headed. We’re continuing to work to find a system that provides a seamless connection between the Light and the earth realm, or what we call here and here. As the beta group for this direct line of communication, we’re working with other families, groups, and communities to ensure that the systems and lines of connection are clear before anyone else connects in this way. 

This is one of the reasons why we want you to be in the light of your life before connecting directly through these means. It’s important to have the mental and emotional wherewithal to withstand any difficulties that might come up as you’re working with your connection. When you’re in your light, you are rooted into your truth, and you must be able to ground into your truth in order to confidently receive messages between realms, knowing that they will always be grounded in your soul team’s love for you.

There is a soul collective that spans the entire galaxy, made up of guides, loved ones and ancestors who are there to lead you through your lifetime. Now that I’ve been connected in directly, I’ve been working with the soul collective, which is made up of people and beings from all of the core communities, including the Pleiadians, Lumerians, Arcturians, Remnants, Galacticans, Reptilians, and others. In the same way our biological DNA comes from different ethnic backgrounds, we are, at a soul level, made up of energetic DNA from these communities. 

This is why everyone is so excited that they’ll be able to work directly with you. They want to help anyone who’s interested in learning more about their life plan, their connections to others, and their reasons for coming into earthly existences. We believe that this understanding will help you to live your ultimate life. 

The Pathway to Direct Communication with My Soul Team

In the time leading up to my ability to speak directly with my guides in this way, I came into the light of my life. That might not be a concept you’re familiar with yet, but we talk a lot about it on our Substack because it’s what we as a soul collective are focused on helping people to understand. The reason it’s so important is that when you’re in the light of your life, you’re opening yourself up to a connection that can hold the frequency of connecting to “the other side.” (Incidentally, this is what those in the Light call sometimes call earth.) That’s what I was able to do when I began working with my soul team. When I could hold the vibrational frequency of their communication, I was able to step into a new level of connection, and that’s what has allowed me to connect with them directly. 

Prior to coming into my own light, I was in the midst of a deep grief cycle over the passing of someone I love. This time frame also happened to be the middle of the pandemic lockdowns. I was in a period of darkness, and I had to find my way out by connecting to my light; by that, I mean the things that were lighting my way into a new phase of my being. There were things happening all around me that were making it incredibly clear that something existed beyond the limitations of what we expect life to be. I received an avalanche of signs, and within them I began noticing patterns that were leading me to understand the truth of what my guides wanted me to know: that there was so much life beyond the lives we live in our physical incarnations. 

I wanted to know more. There was a lot my guides were trying to tell me, but there was also a lot that I was working to decipher. The biggest theme that I was receiving was that there is light living in all of us. I needed to understand more about what they were trying to tell me. As they continued to send me clues, as I read everything I could get my hands on about life beyond life in the human body, and as I worked to develop my skills in such esoteric practices as mediumship, I came to understand what their original message meant. I was also working with other means of connecting, including automatic writing, guidance through music and those delivered through other people, tarot, divination tools like pendulums, dreams and more. My own light began to burn brightly, and it was through that light that I came to share my journey with the world. 

Last year, I created my narrative non-fiction podcast The Glimmering, where I shared my story through the narrative arc of my own fact finding mission—my awakening. As I worked on the podcast, I was able to interweave all the pieces of the puzzle that had come my way over the previous period. Together, they illuminated my life’s plan: to connect the Earth realm to the Light. 

That’s what we wanted to do when I was originally crafting this life, and that’s what I’ve wanted to do since understanding my core purpose here. 

How to Connect to Your Own Soul Team

My soul team and I are working toward helping others to connect between realms. We are collaborating with all of these communities in order to find a communication system that will work smoothly through the Light. One of the issues we’ve come across is that the interference in the airwaves on earth can be very negative. Sometimes, as I’m speaking with my soul team, someone will suddenly seem a bit pushy or somewhat dismissive; however, I know that no one on my soul team is ever this way. They, and everyone I’ve worked with across the galaxy, are completely authentic, generous of spirit, and loving. 

But if I weren’t in the light of my life, it would be easy to allow these negative messages to overshadow the real messages that my soul team is sending. Needless to say, this kind of interference, or what we call “fluff” or “static” can be a little confusing. That’s why we’re checking into every option in order to ensure that any technology we recommend is error free, so that the focus can remain on the light between you, rather than on the technology supporting your connection.

But you don’t need to wait for the technology to be up to par in order to connect—there are so many ways that you can connect through your light. For example, members of my soul team were communicating with me through automatic writing, a method of channeling words through your own hand. It’s a practice of clearing your mind in order to allow messages to come onto the page. While, at first, I thought I might be making these messages up, I found them to be surprising, loving, and full of wisdom. I later learned that my team was sending me these messages of love, and that they, too, were surprised by the clarity through which they had come through. 

There are so many other esoteric practices that you could use to connect with your team. My team worked with me during meditation, breathwork, and energy healing sessions, and through divination tools like tarot and oracle cards. But your connection doesn’t need to be through any of these means—there are a million others ways to connect through your light, because all you need is to be in a high vibe state. To get there, all you have to do is consider what lights you up. What do you love to do? What makes you feel like you’re in a flow state? When you’re doing any of these things, you’re making yourself an energetic match for the frequency of your soul team, which makes it possible for you to communicate directly. 

There are so many ways that you can talk to your soul team directly. What do you want your guides to know about the life you want to live? While they can read your energy, they aren’t always aware of all of the inner workings of your core desires. One way to get really clear in communicating your needs and wants to your soul team is through journaling. When you write to your team, they’ll be able to put people, events, opportunities, synchronicities, signs, and light on your path in order to guide you to everything you had hoped to have, do, and be in this lifetime. 

Connecting with Your Purpose

When I began connecting with my soul team in these ways, everything about my life began to change. My guides put so many beautiful things in my path that they lit up my days with a newfound understanding—or, really, a remembering—of what my plan was for this life. I got really focused on the things that I still wanted to do, but more than that, I became very aware of the fact that I had already done what I came here to do, which was this: to become a lighter, kinder, more compassionate person who could hold the light for others. 

I think that in our culture, it’s easy to get wrapped up in the idea of purpose, but with the acknowledgment from my soul team that I had already become what I came here to be, I understood that “purpose” might mean something entirely different. Our desire now is to help people here on earth to connect with their teams and loved ones in the Light—but we’re doing it from a place of love, and not out of a need to fulfill an outcome. 

This is what we want you to know, too: you are already fulfilling your purpose just by being, and especially by being in your light. My soul team, soul teams from across the galaxy, and I are all here to remind you of the many ways we can help you to do that.
