  • Needs for Outplacement Clients Are Changing: The importance of adapting to the specific needs of each individual, coming from multiple generations, required a shift in approach to traditional outplacement services and traditional career coaching. 
  • Return on Investment:  In challenging budget times and uncertain market conditions, companies were looking for metrics and outcomes that clients were receiving from outplacement services and career coaching.  Was the investment helping the business and the client.
  • Difficulty in Structuring Career Development: Organizations struggled to create career pathways that resonated with Millennials and Gen Z employees, who prefer flexible, innovative and individual focus. 
  • Adapting the Impact of Coaches: High time demands on coaches limited their ability to focus on strategic guidance and expand services. Lower levels required more specific leadership capabilities and a need to talk to a coach and practice in-the-moment.
