How to make £000s from ONE networking meeting
I’m reaching a point in my business where I want to take things to the next level.
One of the things I love about running a business is that there are SO many fun shiny things to invest my money in that could help me grow. E.g.:
Naturally, I want them ALL!
But what I need to focus on right now is working out what’s going to get me the biggest, quickest return-on-investment.
Spoiler alert: it’s not the 'Business-Hun' wardrobe.

Instead I’ve decided to make the smartest investment of my time, money and energy.
Networking.
“But why networking?! It takes so long to build relationships! How will you know which groups will have your next clients in? How do you have the time?!”, I hear you cry.
Let me tell you a story.
Last month I was invited to sub for someone at a networking event for free.
The invite was last minute - the morning of the networking event! But it was online and I happened to have a gap in my calendar.
So I said, “Sure! Why not?!”. I turned up in the Zoom room and was greeted by a lovely group of smiling faces.
I hadn’t pitched my business to strangers for ages, so when my name was called I had a flutter of nerves.
I delivered my 60 seconds and invited people to let me know if they were interested in booking the offer I was promoting.
To my delight, 7 people said they were interested!
After the meeting, I sent out follow-up emails with my discovery call link. Almost all of them booked a call.

One of those calls was with a brilliant woman who was setting up her second business and wanted to learn how to write a new pitch to attract a new audience.
I talked to her about my 1:1 programme and BOOM. She said yes straight away.
When I went to that networking meeting I had invested a grand total of £0 and I knew nobody.
One free meeting = £000s.
There ain’t no jumpsuit in the world that’s going to work that kind of magic.
My secret weapon?
My pitch.
If you are spending time and money on networking but you AREN’T getting your return on investment, investing in your pitch is essential.
Ask yourself this:
How much revenue would you make for your business if you sold your programme to ONE person?
A lead-generating pitch is NOT about attracting EVERYONE to your business.
It’s about attracting the RIGHT people who you love to work with because you can really help them.
To attract the right person you have to know who you are speaking to.
Speak to your dream client in a way that makes them think, “Oh my god, she’s talking to me!!!”.
When your pitch resonates, the right person will sit up and listen.
Your pitch will make them WANT to take action because they’ll know that working with you is a no-brainer.
