How to Make the Money and Impact You KNOW You’re Capable of - Part 1

This is part 1 in a series of 3 articles shared each week.  Be on the lookout for part 2 tomorrow.

If you are ready to make the kind of money and impact you know that you're capable of without working yourself into exhaustion, you’re reading the right article.

There are way too many ridiculously smart, and talented people who have the ability to help others. Yet they're not doing it to the level they can, because they have things that are getting in the way; and a large part of it is the busy work involved in running a business.

I want to share with you how you can stop getting trapped in this exhausting cycle so that you can serve at a higher level.

First, make sure you’re selling what you were born to sell to the people that you were born to serve. Sell only what you’re uniquely gifted, skilled, and talented to sell.  Stop selling what you think you have to sell, because some coach way back when told you that that's the way to make money. It may be what got you to the level of success that you're at now, but you're feeling burnt out for a reason. So make sure your programs are in alignment with what you’re truly meant to do in the world.

You should be selling what lights you up. The kind of programs that deliver the transformation you're excited to help your clients experience. It’s essential to your business because when you know that you're the best at what you do, and you're working with clients who are aligned with how you deliver your service they get amazing results. What do you think that does to your confidence? What do you think that does to your income?

If you're trying to sell a whole bunch of services because you think you have to, I'm here to tell you that it’s time to STOP. It's a disservice to you and your clients.

So how do you do this? It’s simple: create one powerhouse offer. I'm not telling you to build your entire business off one offer, but just entertain me for a moment. You want to create one main program that delivers your highest level of transformation for your ideal clients.

When you do this the right way, you can command higher end fees, think $10K to $100K packages. Once you have that offer, and you start marketing it, what do you think is going to happen? You're going to attract people your ideal clients and some folks who are not quite ready yet.

They're on the continuum, so they have the potential to be your ideal client, but they need a little bit of support  to become who they need to be to benefit most from your powerhouse program.

I recommend you create a downsell to serve those folks. Almost like an incubator, a program that gets them ready for the next level with you. Something short term, like an 8-week workshop or a VIP day, is ideal.  This offer can typically sell for between $3K and $10K.

Once you have the powerhouse offer and downsell offer, you’re ready to create an upsell. This is the next step for your clients who want to renew with you. You don't have to know what that is today, because you're going to get a lot of the information that you need in order to create that offer once you start working with your ideal clients exclusively.

If you are in a position where you've created a ton of offers, you get results for clients, but you still feel like there's still something off or you still feel like you're not truly owning the value of what you do, check back tomorrow for part 2.
