How to Make Working from Home Work for You!

Hello, and welcome to the WFH Newsletter! This newsletter will discuss everything from time management tips to ways to stay productive while working from home. We know that working from home can be a challenge, but with the right tools and advice, it can be an incredibly rewarding experience. Thanks for joining us, and we hope you find this newsletter helpful!

Here are a few quick tips to make working from home work for you:

1. Create a dedicated workspace. This will help you get into “work mode” and avoid getting too comfortable (and lazy!) in your PJs.

2. Get dressed for the day. Again, this will help your mind transition into “work mode” so you can be more productive. Plus, video calls are much less awkward when everyone can see your face (and not just your upper half).

3. Set clear boundaries with family and friends. Let them know when you are working and unavailable so they don’t interrupt or distract you unnecessarily. This is especially important if you have young children at home.

4. Take multiple breaks throughout the day to move your body and get some fresh air. Walking around the block or standing up and stretching will work wonders for your energy level and focus.

5. Make time for socializing… even if it’s just virtually! Schedule regular check-ins with co-workers, attend virtual happy hours or coffee dates with friends, join an online book club… whatever helps you feel connected to others while respecting social distancing guidelines.
