How to Map EVERYTHING in the Enterprise's Architecture & Technology
How do you know everything’s handled well in the company’s IT? Is whatever the business needs provided for? Are all the systems functioning, healthy, secure, easy to operate, and cost-effective?
These questions keep me up at night as an Enterprise Architect. They no doubt trouble several others responsible for the quality of large parts of a company.
As action relieves worry, whether justified or baseless, I created a set of artefacts that help me see everything necessary. With visibility comes knowledge, and from knowledge comes control. I use them to ensure good information technology.
And I always care to share, so here they are for you, too.
