How to overcome the fear of a huge life change

How to overcome the fear of a huge life change

In last than 1 month I'll be a digital nomad!

After years of putting off this dream, I finally took the courage to make it real once I realized I was missing out on something worthy of pursuing.

I love the exciting feeling of freedom and growth that traveling brings me. So, now it's time to pack and leave bringing you guys with me :)

I plan to share with you all the relevant details of my journey hoping that it can serve as an inspiration for those of you that resonate with my decision to invest in something that really matters.

While I'm writing these lines, almost 100% of the main steps of my plans are ready to go:

  • My rental contract has been terminated
  • My furniture has been sold
  • All my pending issues were resolved
  • The first destination flights and accommodations are booked
  • The first 2-month itinerary is already laid out

Looking back on all this preparation, I realized that I can break them into 3 phases that you can use to kick off pretty much any goal you have of your own:

Step 1 - Clarity and engagement (emotions, desires, and needs are acknowledged)

Here I went from doubting/fearing my dream to being clear about what I want and how to get there.

Step 2 - Closure of the previous chapter

I created the checklist of what to do, solve, and leave behind.

Step 3 - Beginning of the new chapter

I found out what I needed to learn and do to become a digital nomad.

I know you may have no intention to leave your current life behind to pursue a dream, but using the tools of these 3 phases can make much easier and faster the decision-making process in your life.

In the next article, I'll explain all the details of Phases 1, 2, and 3, including valuable examples to turn theory into practice in the blink of an eye! If that makes sense to you, stick around!

Now, what are your hacks when it comes to big changes?

 I'll love to know! 🤗
