…“If I had eight hours to chop down a tree, I’d spend six sharpening my axe.”
– Abraham Lincoln

…A little preparation goes a long way in preserving relationships, getting work
done efficiently, and keeping our own blood pressure lower.

…There is no short-cut to leader or spiritual maturity, and there is no
‘all-nighter’ that can be pulled when the battle is upon us.  There are
specific tasks that must be completed daily.  Steven Covey called this
“winning the daily private victory”, which was completing those daily tasks
that over time make a great person and a great leader.  It’s also what James
Clear calls “atomic habits”; those daily, marginal, 1% improvements that when
made every day for a year result in 36X improvement!
