How Not to Be Replaced by Generative AI
I have been using ChatGPT since I started Generative AlexAI in June of 2023 and I am sure it can never replace humans. There are sentences that are not the same but have similarities, and humans can fix those.
When generative AI became the trending topic worldwide, I saw a lot of job opportunities for AI prompt engineers, who are “professionals” that can make AI tools spit out the exact words they want.
Many clients have also become more doubtful of writers, thinking that they use AI writing tools and don’t write from scratch anymore. I personally was accused of using AI when I didn’t, and that offended me.
I haven’t tried all AI writing tools, but I have asked ChatGPT to generate a blog post with over 500 words for me many times, and I saw patterns.
If you see sentences like these in a blog post, it was written by ChatGPT. In all the unedited versions of the posts on Generative AlexAI, there were sentences written in this way:
Regardless of the flaws, I saw the power of AI. It is indeed better than some writers, and maybe I am one of those writers.

Producing blog posts with AI takes less than 30 minutes including editing. In my experience, I edit AI articles in 10 minutes on average. It depends on how messy it is or whether the information is complete.
Some pass AI detectors, but some don’t. But even human-written content can be AI-generated in the eyes of those detectors, so I don’t take them seriously.
So, how can you not be replaced by AI?
AI can replace writers, but it can’t replace editors. If you are a writer and you don’t want to be unemployed, learn to adapt and work with AI tools. Don’t resist AI like I did previously.
If you don’t want to be an editor, find out the other things you like doing and can offer to clients.
Personally, when clients started replacing writers with generative AI, I took my career to the next level and became an SEO specialist. My work mostly involves website development and content editing.
Website development and content editing are both beyond AI’s capabilities — at least for now.
