How to Solve DSC Errors while Working on GST, MCA, Traces and Income Tax Portal
Most of the times we face a situation where we get unwanted error while trying to use Digital Signature Certificates on TRACES, GST, MCA or Income Tax Portal.
Hereby we have tried to solve that error when deadlines have arrived and we face this error that put in some kind of situations which leads towards unexpected results.
The following steps solve the problem. By following correctly the below procedures you can use DSC functionality on Google Chrome also as it is one of the most commonly used browsers.
Step 1: First download and install JAVA on your system. Kindly note that JAVA should be 32-Bit not 64-Bit, even though system supports 64-Bit, JAVA must be of 32-Bit only.
After downloading install the JAVA on your system and restart your system.
Step 2: Download DSC utilities from MCA, TRACES, GST, and Income Tax Portal. Install all the utilities in your system.
Step 3: Configure JAVA on your system. Press Win+S key, in the search bar type “Configure Java” or “JAVA Control Panel” and select “run as administrator” by right clicking on it.
In the JAVA Control Panel navigate to “Security” tab. In the security tab at the end you will see “Exception Site List” under that to the right, click on “Edit Site List” . Now in those lists add the following sites or addresses:

Step 4: Now open Google Chrome on your system. Press Alt+e, then press “S”. In “Search Settings” type “Javascript”>Click on “Site Settings”>Click on “Javascript” under content menu at the end.
Step 5: Now under the tab “Allowed to Use Javascript” add the following websites one by one.
Step 6: Restart your system. Now you are good to go. You can use DSC functionalities on GST, MCA, Traces and Income Tax Portal.
