How to stop Smartphone addiction?
Yes, you heard it right, quite a risky addition in any one's life. So, this happened to me also and i am very far from it now days and, below these steps have given me guideline and steps and how to win over mobile addition.
So, I request you follow these quick steps to produce good results.
Lets understand why we need switch away from our phone.
1 .The phone is controlling us in every possible way, let it be notifications, luring us with various videos, games and etc.
2. Our self-thinking ability and creativity is no more
3. we are making provoking decisions, without giving sometime to self-think on our actions.
4.Remember when there were no smartphones, our lives were healthy.
5. We don't even feel that we are trapped by our smartphones, we become occupied in it, and we become lazy.
6. In families our bonding has become less, and our family members are becoming less interactive.
7.we start to procrastinate, we are busy playing, watching and browsing using our phone.
8.Our sitting, sleeping and resting postures changes and we get all sort of back pain and more.
Hence there is need to focus on ourselves, try to reduce the usage of smartphone for our self-development.
Mobile addiction can be a challenging issue to tackle, but here are some tips that can help:
Initially follow the below for single hour in a day (you will feel a positive difference in your thinking), then follow for day in a week(you will have a better judgement)
Then after 3 weeks start to increase numbers of days and then i bet you, you will better person (you will attain super active brain and both physically and mentally you're very active). your journey for being superhuman in on the way.
- Initially set a screen time widget on your phone, which will tell how many minutes are consumed by each application in your phone on a daily basis. Review it and try to avoid this application and either remove them or stay away from it (this is serious step and first step we need to take before taking a control our addition)

2. Understand Real Reason of addiction, There are some applications are which are so additive in our phone, that they will tempt us, and many people will temp us back to that application, in that case try to step away from that application and try to understand why we are using it and how it has impacted our lives.
3.Set boundaries: Set specific times of the day when you will use your phone and stick to those times. For example, you might decide to only use your phone during certain hours of the day, such as in the morning or evening.
- Turn off notifications: Turn off unnecessary notifications on your phone. This will help you avoid constantly checking your phone for updates and interruptions.
4.Take breaks: Take regular breaks from your phone. Set aside some time each day to disconnect from your phone and engage in other activities, such as exercise, reading, or spending time with friends and family.
5.Practice mindfulness: Be mindful of your phone use. Pay attention to how much time you spend on your phone each day and how it affects your mood and productivity. Consider using mindfulness techniques, such as meditation or deep breathing, to help you manage your phone use.
6.Seek support (In Extreme cases): If you are struggling with mobile addiction, consider seeking support from friends, family, or a mental health professional. They can provide encouragement, advice, and support as you work to overcome this issue.
Note: Remember that breaking a habit takes time and effort. Be patient with yourself and take small steps towards reducing your phone use. With consistent effort, you can overcome mobile addiction and improve your overall well-being.
