How Suze Maclaine Pont Made €40,000 In One Single Event

How Suze Maclaine Pont Made €40,000 In One Single Event

Breakdown of the 2 changes we made to her signature Live Seminar that increased the conversion from 10% to 30% while increasing the price of the offer.

Suze, one of my private clients, is a person you must connect with.

She is awesome at getting business owners to make money and change their relationship with money completely.

She called me a couple of months ago and asked me if I could help her out with her events.

Suze is already a good speaker and have been running events for 1 year.

She was already making good money and getting clients but she never had a, what I call, BREAKTHROUGH EVENT.

This is an event when you generate a large amount of high-end clients.

One of these events every year, can sort you out financially for the entire 12 months.

Of course, Suze and I don't stop at one BREAKTHROUGH EVENT event per year, we have at least four or five.

That’s just how we are.

Back to Suze.

We only did 2 sessions before her first BREAKTHROUGH EVENT and we made few changes.

The first change we made was on the offer.

We made the offer and call to action simpler.

The rule of thumb is: simplicity sells.

The more variables there are in an offer, the more time people need to make a decision.

This is why we merged the 2 offers she was making in one, more expensive package.

The result?

Conversions increased from 10% to 30%, while increasing the average spend per person in the room from €700 to €2000.

Then we worked on her pitch.

The one she was using at the moment was already a good one.

However, she was selling only at the end of the second day.

Many speakers do that too. And it works... to a point.

The problem with this strategy is that you only leave only a limited amount of time for people to make a decision and you would capitalise only on the impulsive buyers in the room.

The impulsive buyers are the one who buy the most, but they also have a higher risk of refunds or change of focus as they make their decisions instantly.

However the logical buyers will need more time to make a decision, but once they have made that decision, they are very likely to stick with it.

By making a soft pitch with a low-key call to action in the afternoon of the first day, she was now able to trigger the buying strategy of the logical buyers as well as the impulsive buyers.

Then we followed up with a revised pitch on the second day similar to the one she had before.

That's how she moved from a 10% to a 30% conversion in the room on a €5000 offer.

8 people bought.

Total: €40,000

And this is just the beginning.

We are now working with Suze to help her make her first €100,000 seminar which will happen in the next few months.

To recap:

- Simplicity sells.

Make your sales process and pitch as simple as possible and you will see an immediate increase in conversions.

- Don't make the pitch last minute.

Share the package throughout the presentation and only make the offer at the end.

Now it's time to take action.

Refine the sales process of your next event by implementing what I share and you can have your own BREAKTHROUGH EVENTS too.

TOGETHER WE GROW EXPONENTIALLY
