How are you feeling?

Our emotional responses to the environment, places, people, circumstances, time, events… are the key to understanding our daily life. In other words, how we think, feel and act, is the result of the combination of the inner and external world.


Let me ask you one simple question, and no, you do not have share your answers with us on the comments below. Relax and be honest with yourself.

How are you feeling right now?

What primary emotion describes how are you feeling in this very moment? 

Any signs of joy, gratitude, love for life? or the primary emotion you ‘think’ you feel right now is very low in energy, very negative, very draining instead of uplifting? 

How would you rather feel?

Be very honest with the answer and trust.

Why would you rather feel a different emotion in this moment?

If your energy shifted to a more positive/uplifting one, what would 3 of the benefits be for you?


Emotions come and go and feelings change all the time. Emotions and feelings are what they are, the meaning they have for us, in a specific moment/situation.


So, how do we move from a state of fear, anger, insecurity, shame, anxiety, sadness, guilt, sorrow, depression, doubt, worry, judgement, competition, hostility… to a state of joy, calmness, happiness, confidence, love, inspiration, peace, wholeness, trust, presence, knowingness, empowerment, compassion, forgiveness, unconditional love…?

Understanding.

Understanding what?

Understanding what causes the stress, the fear of the future, the anxiety, the guilt of the past, the doubt…

What do you ‘think’ is the cause of that emotion?

How often does the same emotion manifest in your life, in different areas?

The first step is choice. Choosing now, in this very moment, as life is choice, all the time.


Take a deep breath in again, out, relax and trust:

  • What do you choose to feel now?
  • Why do you choose to feel this emotion and not one from the past?
  • Will feeling this way help you move in the direction of your primary goal?
  • What is the first and simplest action you can take, right now, to keep this new emotion active and alive, while entertaining positive thoughts related to this new emotion?
  • What specifically will I do?
  • Write down 6 actions steps that will help you move forward.
  • Pick the first one, take action, smile and trust!

We can’t change yesterday’s actions, but we certainly can decide what to experience and the life we choose and deserve! Never give up on your dreams and remember, life has never failed you, and regardless of the situation you are facing, you know you’ll get through it, as you always did!
