BAP Kitchen – We visited this family-run restaurant when it was just a pop-up in Indigo, now they have their own location on Timmermansgatan. Currently only serving lunch, it’s going to be a popular spot, I take the bibimbap.

Tjoget – Last week an institution in Hornstull turned 12 years! Tjoget has been a main staple for anyone who loves cocktails and a welcome atmosphere reminiscent of anywhere but Stockholm. A firm favourite.

Teatergrillen – A hedonist in Stockholm’s gastronomic scene Daniel Crespi from Leijontornet interprets the legend that is Tore Wretman and his gastronomic legacy. Last year it was Albin Edberg and it was a ‘Wretman Days’ not to be missed. Can’t wait to see the menu for this one, tables are available 3-5th October!

A mini–London guide:

So, I’m just back from a few days of work in London so I to give some quick recommendations if you find yourself looking for a lunch spot, a post-run bun, a cocktail, or a business dinner. Book in advance, the hottest tables are booked up far in advance! Some recommendations for you to check out before your next visit.

Fantasy weekend meal:

Courgette Salad. Sourdough bread (Svedjans), homemade butter. Grilled artichokes in oil (from Supermercado). Sliced pink grapefruit, blueberries, and mint.

Courgette salad:

A simple salad based on the last newsletter's pickled courgettes. Slice 1 courgette thinly into a bowl with a mandolin. Add a pinch of salt, and a glug of olive oil (I only use Grappolini). Cube and sauté in a frying pan another courgette. Add the cubed courgette to the fresh courgette, a handful of the courgette pickles, and mix. Top with some shaved pecorino and some crushed croutons for a little crunch.
