1dInteresting article. Brands need to think really hard about this "hyper personalisation", or even just basic personalisation in some instances. Personalisation is a great brand building tool when used appropriately and in the right context. When used at it's best it shows you are interested in your customer, but at it's worst it's about as creepy as you could be. The ethics of this needs further discussion as we are already moving towards more control over what is tracked and used without consent. It's a big conversation for brands everywhere, but maybe even more so a conversation that customers should be taking control of rather than the brands themselves.
