I decided to read "Spare" Here is my honest review

I decided to read Prince Harry's book "Spare". At first, I had no intention of reading the book due to the fact, I did know him from my polo days as well as being a Patron for Sentebale. I was curious if he would talk about two main things: 25 July 2004, that was the China White Polo After Party for Cartier International Polo, a night that changed everyone who attended the party including Harry.

That night, the paparazzi had. called him "The Party Prince" In the papers and for years I defended Harry on this. The press can be a pain in the butt at times, as they write to sell papers, because they think that the average person is obsessed with royalty and celebrities. In fact that polo after party, when Harry and another mate were giving the bird to the grey-haired paparazzi guy, who was taking a photo, after the photo was taken, I told him off and said to leave Harry and mates alone as it is a fun time, they don't need press attention. I am always doing kind things for people.

That event wasn't in the book. Okay. next date: Opening of the Children's Centre for Sentebale, one would think they would write that in the book as that was something he worked hard for - and so far, I didn't see it. if it was written, please correct me but so far, I only saw a few things about Sentebale, but not the opening of the children's centre.

Then I wondered if he added some of the polo charity events, such as Chakravarty Cup, he, William and Charles loved that charity cup. My friends father was the founder of that cup. I attended several of those polo cup matches back in the early 2000s. Nope. nothing.

As I continued to read it, my mind went into two directions. One part, I think it was great he got his words out, because I have been saying for years, Harry needs to speak up but the other part was, he should have written this and kept it private. This book was not for the public to read.

Harry is a good person, I want to make that clear. With that said, the book itself, there were things that shouldn't have been in there, such as when he lost his V-card- or getting frost-bite on his Johnson. I can't unread that, and if I see him again at charity events, out of everything that might pop out in my mind, especially when he plays polo (okay I am joking, I needed some humour here- and those who don't get it, why us women love polo season, it is those white trousers the men wear!!). But in all seriousness, it was a good read, Harry thinks like I do.

While I don't agree with him making this book public, I do agree with him getting his words out. I wish I had spoke up on 18 June 2004 and 25 July 2004 but didn't. Thankfully those days, William (18 June) and Harry (25 July) spoke up for me and got that person who was bothering me, to apologize for being mean (it was a long time ago, I never give out names out of respect). I will always be thankful for William and Harry's kindness.

My thought about this book: I wish I could give William, Kate, Charles, Camilla , extended family and mates a big hug right now. I wish I could give Harry a big hug as well and then tell Harry, he needs to stop talking to the public. Harry said the family motto is "Never Explain; Never Complain" - that is the family motto for all family members of older generations, mind included. Sadly, today we are the age of going on TikTok and airing out the dirty laundry and not keeping things private. That really bothers me.

What I do hope is everyone can work together, hug it out- remember, kindness goes a long way. Anyway, these are my thoughts about the book. I also hope the media leaves this subject alone and move on to the next subject Everyone needs to heal from this.

Remember: love and hugs everyone! :)
