I Don't Like False Humility...To Me, It's Manipulation At The HIGHEST Levels.

I don't like false humility.

To me, it's manipulation at the HIGHEST levels.

But I digress.Since entering the nationally syndicated television space, 4 years ago with producing over a hundred plus episodes of my own television show, in the midst of a global pandemic, I have learned a few things.

I am HIGHLY competitive and like to win, my Dad taught me from a very young age that I could be anything I wanted to be but his only request was that whatever I choose to do, that I be the BEST at it, and he would be proud of me if I did."If you decide to be a garbage man Son, you just be the BEST garbage man that there is and I will be proud of you."

EXCELLENCE has always been my standard in my life and in my business.When I entered the nationally syndicated television space, I brought those same standards to my show.I ruffled some feathers but not "playing nice in the sandbox" by decreeing that my show was now the HOTTEST show on national television and putting anyone that was broadcasting their show during our time on OFFICIAL NOTICE that I was coming for their ratings, every single one of them.

No, I was not just happy to be there.I want to compete and and I want to win.That's in my DNA and how my GOD wired me.The difference is I want to win for my GOD and his people, not for myself.

My VICTORIES are THEIR victories.I take new territory for my GOD, not for myself.

I do a nationally syndicated television show because my God has mandated that I do it, not because I want to produce and host my own nationally syndicated television show...I was perfectly content being a guest on other peoples television shows.

Doing what I now do was NOT on my bucket list of things to do but if I am going to do it, I am coming in with my non- negotiable spirit of EXCELLENCE and there is no compromise on those standards.

Which leads me to the point of this post.

The nationally syndicated television space, especially the FAITH based space is HIGHLY COMPETITIVE.

The dollar amounts being paid for the broadcast time on these nationally syndicated television networks are HUGE numbers so these folks are playing at the HIGHEST LEVELS.

When the highly coveted time slot becomes available, it is like blood in the water because they simply don't become available that often due to their incredible value.

Long time friendships have been lost when someone else gets a coveted day and time over someone else.

In our first year, we had a MAJOR player(you all would know him if I shared his name) try and out bump us for our day and time but you cannot out bump our God.

They REALLY wanted that day and time slot BADLY and of course because it was a highly coveted time slot, I wanted it as well.The television network choose us over him.

My response when I found out about this was "I don't deserve that day and time slot anymore than he does, but I certainly don't deserve it any less either"

So often we end up diminishing ourselves and our gifting for the someone else to feel better, or worse yet, to appear humble.

Listen to me carefully.

You will NEVER go to the next level of your life and your destiny, if you think you don't deserve it.

STOP WITH THIS FALSE HUMILITY GARBAGE.

It's inauthentic and simply not true.

I did not "marry up" when I married Vickie...she married a KING, and I married a QUEEN.

I would NEVER diminish Vickie by saying that a QUEEN would ever "marry down" and not marry her King.

You DESERVE LOVE, SUCCESS, and PROSPERITY as much as anyone else does.

No one DESERVES it more than you do.

So many people have gone thru so much trauma in their life and been beaten down, they FEEL that they are so undeserving of success, prosperity, and LOVE.

The enemy will use that AGAINST you to keep you right where you are at.

ENOUGH is ENOUGH!

Listen, if you are going to be anywhere near me in my universe, I will not allow you to play that false humility card with me.

You DESERVE it as much as anyone else does and no one deserve it more than YOU do.

You can believe that.

It also happens to be 100% TRUE.
