I made a new friend whose #nolockdown days keep extending.

She is making her nest in my balcony approximately 5 feet from where I sit in my home office. I was fascinated to once again learn many things which I had learnt and forgotten.

She greets me every day with that inquisitive look. We have been playing hide and seek with my camera at the ready. I managed to capture some magic moments. I keep wondering what that "bird brain" behind those limpid eyes is thinking. Maybe she is doing a strategic risk assessment of locating her nest 5 feet away from me. Or maybe she is just making friends and saying hello and learning to trust an untrustworthy being. Or maybe she is looking into my eyes and wondering what is this "idiot brain" behind the steely eyes and Gucci frame thinking. ?

I guess I will never know. But I am happy to meet her. "Stay Safe", I said to her.
