They are a group of students (+ 3000 associates) who work in the linkage with students of agricultural and related sciences and companies, so that they can perform their internships and begin to enter the labor market. We would like to highlight that some of the associated students have enrolled

1. Spanish Course
(July, 2024 - onwards) (online, Zoom)
Our dear Finances Coordinator, Andrea Calderón, organized and started the IAAS Spanish Course 2024. We are so glad to support the whole community while also learning by ourselves a lot; languages serve as the first bridge that gets us closer to the people and the destinations we eventually want to meet, so this was an opportunity to share good moments and build new capacities that empower all IAASers and non IAASers all the same. Lessons learned and feedback surely is coming on the way and we are grateful for that.

Finally in August we formally signed and joined this coalition whose goal is to propose healthier alternatives for everyone in food related topics. Specifically this year the main focus is to finish the proposal of a project that will revolve around the capital and is meant to gather many financial supporters to make these ideas a reality. IAAS delegates are making a great effort to contribute to the whole process, we will keep building alliances that promote a better future.
5. Youth Fairfor Food Security-World Food Forum National Chapter
(August 17th)(Quito, Ecuador)

It included many innovative and sustainable businesses that showcased their talents and products, demonstrations of gastronomy using rescued food, artistic presentations and workshops to debate about the wellbeing of our agrosystems and their influence in our everyday lives. We invite all the committees from IAAS to reach out to these coalitions and even better, lead the way into events and agendas that push forward the association and our reputation as capable ever learning students.
6. Reshapingour Exchange Program team
(August)
As our NExCo Marco López goes to the world vice presidency of exchange, we have had to find a new leader and team to replace or even strengthen our ExPro potential. Fortunately, we made the right calls and got a new member on the team, she is from a private university which is USFQ-Universidad San Francisco de Quito. We know her capabilities and contacts will be a good addition for the team as we roam new places in search of sponsors while keeping up with all of our duties and responsibilities. We wish them all the best.
