ICU Scoring Systems

since 35 years ago,predictive scoring systems have been developed to measure the severity of disease and the prognosis of patients in the intensive care unit (ICU). Such measurements are helpful for clinical decision making, ICU management, triage,standardizing research, and comparing the quality of patient care across ICUs.
