Here's the thing – when you run your own consulting business, you might not think you're a sales person...


But you're essentially on 100% commission.


So, "not being a salesperson" just isn’t an option.

👉 It reminds me of all the years I said, "I'm terrible at video." 🎥


I hated seeing myself on camera so I shied away from it. But thankfully, my team started calling me out. 


They pointed to the 60+ successful webinars I'd done, how well they always went, and how much I actually enjoyed them once I got going.


But I still felt a ton of resistance.


That's when I realized: I wasn't TERRIBLE AT video. I was TERRIFIED OF video. 


This one shift changed everything. Now I could finally face the real issue. And slowly, as I worked on it, that paralyzing fear began to melt away.


So, what's this got to do with you and selling?


Instead of saying, "I'm not a salesperson," let's get real:


"I'm afraid of selling." 


"I'm terrified of coming across as pushy or salesy." 


"I feel vulnerable now that I don't have a big corporate name behind me." 


"I just want to do the work, not deal with the selling part."


Trust me, pretty much EVERY consultant has been exactly where you are. It's part of the journey.

> you might not think you're a sales person... > But you're essentially on 100% commission. ⚡ right there. I had a similar realization-- I hate "selling", but "helping" is great... And that's what great sales people do, anyway... Especially when people get bombarded by sleazy sales tactics, showing up like a doctor instead of a used car salesman is actually a big advantage.
