for Immed Release : Vaughn TV Show Focused on Kindness Launched Two Weeks Before Study Rates The Region #1 Rudest - Local Celebrity’s Initiative Couldn’t Be More Timely
(Thornhill, ON; Aug 22)
Recently, celebrity inspirational speaker, children’s book author, and new TV host Dark Joseph Ravine heard about the new public opinion poll from Preply showing Canadians rating Vaughn as the rudest place in Canada. Ravine, who grew up in the Thornhill area of Vaughn, not far from where he films his new television show THE DARK JOSEPH RAVINE SHOW, says it is exactly what he is trying to stop.
The show could not be more timely.
He's been interviewed by Tech Daily about his charitable giving, appeared on Ticker TV in Australia and numerous high profile podcasts and appeared in numerous profiles (including extensive interviews with Authority Magazine and Billion Success.
Ravine, who dealt with bullies as a child, has become passionate about kindness - it’s something he built his children’s book, his business, and now his new television project around. In fact, he says, he has turned to television as a natural extension of his message of kindness and hope.
The intriguing and informative new show, which just launched in July a few weeks before the new study hit Canadian media - is an in-studio interview format show where Ravine interviews changemakers at Channel 1 studio (GoliveCH1). His guests are big names in entertainment, politics, the arts and business - but they all have one thing in common. Like Ravine himself, his guests are known for making a difference in the world.

His first guest, award winning publicist Tracy Lamourie, also has a global reputation as a human rights activist, who first came to public attention for her work helping to free an innocent man from death row. His second guest, MPP Laura Smith was invited to be a guest on the show because of her work with youth (she spoke of how most of her staff is under age 28!), her work against hate (she is known to be vocal in the fight against anti semitism), and her advocacy for the elderly (Smiths dementia bill was another topic of conversation during the show.) Ravine said the conversation with Smith provided him with hope for the future of the community.
Ravine is pleased to provide an opportunity for community leaders to share their positive messages with a local and global audience.
Ravine, who says he is always open to hearing from real people, is passionate about elevating inspirational stories - and helping people believe in themselves, find hope, and ultimately live better lives. The show debuted on YouTube for it's first season, but Ravine is open to conversation about potential distribution on traditional TV, Roku, or streaming services for future seasons.
