5moAn interesting read! Immersive courses with ideally, home stays, may be mentally and sometimes emotionally exhausting for professionals, but they make a huge difference to English proficiency; especially spoken clarity and listening skills. Problem is, companies don’t realise how long it might take an employee to improve. It’s subjective. My own observations: 📌Insufficient budget is allocated to language programmes. 📌Companies cannot get the best out of their intelligent, super-competent employees, if they don’t support them in having the tool of proficient English to do their jobs as well as in their first language.
