Well written. The ongoing industrial revolution, which started in 2011, is likely to last until around 2050, and its impacts will be closely intertwined with the effects of climate change. If climate change remains unchecked, scientists warn of catastrophic consequences, increased destructive sandstorms from heightened drought, threats to coastal communities due to rising oceans and melting ice sheets, hotter global temperatures leading to heat-related illnesses, food scarcity, human displacement, health risks, and loss of biodiversity. Some consequences of climate change are already evident. For example, natural disasters in 2020 resulted in a significant economic loss of 210 billion US Dollars.
