The Blockchain Skills for Europe Alliance ( CHAISE_EU ) invites organisations to support the project goals and outcomes via a Statement of Support.

Bringing Clarity to the DeFi Sector: A Cross-Sector Proposal for a Unified DeFi Definition

After 10 months of dedicated work, a universally recognized understanding of DeFi has been achieved, reflecting the growth of the Web3 industry and its intermediary-free financial ecosystem. The report, shaped by a survey from IOTA (an INATBA member organisation) and input from esteemed professors from the Academic Advisory Body, establishes three main DeFi definitions, enhancing regulatory clarity and fostering innovation for a borderless financial future. This pioneering effort sets milestones for the evolving definition of DeFi.

INATBA Working Groups activity:

Over the past year, INATBA has driven diverse initiatives to advance the blockchain industry. Notable accomplishments include the Digital Credentials Task Force, exploring cross-border digital credentials, and the Metaverse Task Force for virtual world regulation insights.

We published an extensive data privacy report, hosted informative webinars, actively responded to policy initiatives, initiated BlockStand for standardization, advocated for regulatory support and participated in blockchain education through the CHAISE project. These efforts showcase our commitment to innovation, responsible adoption, and positive societal impact.
