If the price of petrol, electricity or gas increases, inflation starts to rise. Now, not one, not two, but three prices have been increased simultaneously. From this it can be estimated that the public will have to face the severity of inflation.
The new government used to claim that inflation will be reduced and incomes will be increased, but everything seems to be reversed here. Inflation has increased and incomes have not increased. With the increase in petrol prices, every necessity of life, including food items, will become more expensive.
Increasing the prices of petroleum products will further increase inflation, the last decade of Ramadan has begun, Eid-ul-Fitr is near. For the poor, inflation in the month of fasting turns into a terrible torture. Due to the increase in the prices of petroleum products, the rents are also increasing sharply, which is causing difficulties for the poor man. While the recent increase in electricity rates along with the rise in petrol prices has stalled the industry, paying electricity bills has become the biggest economic problem for industrialists, traders, laborers and ordinary citizens.
This increase in prices has not only affected the common man but also businesses and industries across the country. The rise in petrol prices has also had a severe impact on other sectors of the economy. The transportation industry has been severely affected by this increase. The prices of goods and services have also increased, as businesses have to bear the additional cost of transportation. There are several reasons for this increase.

The government has also imposed an additional tax on petrol, which has further burdened the consumers. The government's decision to increase taxes was meant to generate revenue, but the public had to pay a heavy price. The IMF wants to pay off the revolving debt and the government is forced to take this money out of the consumers' pockets. In Pakistan, no electricity bill has become a magic wand, by twisting which the government is running its affairs and now it has started running various departments as well. The Khawas who rule or enjoy ruling from top to bottom get everything for free.
Electricity, gas, petrol, housing, servants are all at the expense of the government, that is, their burden is also borne by the people. Thanks to the policies of the ruling classes, the wealth created by the workers and farmers of Pakistan has been filled in the coffers of only a handful of elites. In the current economy, more than 80% of the total wealth of Pakistan is owned by the elites.
Measures based on transparency have to be taken. Efforts should be made for the development and prosperity of the country and the nation with good intentions. It is important that the dollar rate be brought back to the old level. A big reduction in the rate of inflation should be ensured. Employment opportunities should be expanded. Mandatory arrangements should be made for the washing of the poor. Actions that invite procrastination should be avoided. Problems should be solved with domestic resources instead of loans.
