Increasing Women's Representation in the Industry

People Konnect is committed to increasing women's representation in industry across all domains. Our two flagship structured programs for Women in Sales and Women in Manufacturing & Supply Chain aim at women hiring, second career programs, mentorship, women leadership development and networking opportunities to build a community.

1. WinS – A LinkedIn Collaboration

WinS is one such initiative in collaboration with LinkedIn to get more women to join the sales function. We are working across industry through various programs.

PepSheCo Frontline - Sales Internship for Women in Sales at PepsiCo .

People Konnect in is partnering with Pepsico to induct 50+ women on a career break or currently working in sales and aspire to join the iconic brand and build an exciting career. The 8 week internship program is designed to give women the opportunity to learn from the best in the business and to gain hands-on experience in the sales industry. On successful completion of the program, they also stand a chance to join the sales team.

2. The Shemaker Summit

The Shemaker Summit is our initiative to make the manufacturing and supply chain as career of choice amongst women in STEM. Launched in 2020, this year is the 4th edition of the Summit . 

This year’s Summit is in partnership with Indian Institute of Management Mumbai as we work towards a robust industry academia partnership to structurally strengthen the foundation through skill building. 

In this context, we had a meeting with  Gestamp and the DEI cell at NITIE.

The meeting was attended by Dean Vivekanand Khanapuri  Dr. Upasna A Agarwal,Associate Profesor, NITIE ;Phd. IIT Mumbai  Vrinda Khattar Poonam Mehra Singh, Phd (She/Her) NIKHIL K MEHTA (He/Him) & Megha Gupta (She/Her) & Glyn Jones, Priyanka Shakyavanshi, Mangesh Waikar & Dr. Caroline Audoir de Valter from Gestamp .
