The Innovation Imperative: Why Innovation Matters Now More Than Ever

The word "Innovation" is everywhere these days, while it has become somewhat a buzzword—actual innovation is more essential than ever to the survival and success of any organization. Today, markets, technology, and customer/user expectations are changing faster than ever. Without a diligent and intentional innovation strategy, organizations of all sizes risk being disrupted.

Over the course of the next few weeks, I’ll be outlining my perspective on topics related to innovation within organizations both large and small.

Innovation as a Competitive Edge

Innovative organizations gain a unique edge, ready to adapt and pivot as needed. They tend to outperform others, attract top talent, and create workplaces where people feel challenged and inspired. In a world valuing purpose-driven work, innovation is a competitive necessity. I’d argue that innovation strategy is becoming table steaks for your team, organization, and business.
