haku Summer Games - Volleyball

After last month’s thrilling pickleball tournament, we kept the excitement going with an equally competitive and fun volleyball tournament! Congratulations to our champions Andrew Wilcox, MBA , Ioana Popa, MBA, CRME , Maria Victoria Rodriguez , and Steven Camacho for clinching the gold!

Development Team Outing

Our development team had a great time at a Miami Marlins baseball game this past week, and the Marlins secured a win to add to the fun!

11th haku Anniversary Lunch

The team had a fantastic time enjoying lunch together and celebrating 11 incredible years of haku. Here's to year 12!

BTN Big 10K Race

Jose Escobar , Robin Crail , and Alexa Marco had a great turnout dynamically assigning bibs and checking in participants at the 2024 BTN Big 10K Race. A total of 18 Big Ten schools participated and we were excited to add 3 new schools this year. The event drew participants from all 50 us states and 12 different countries!

Quad-City Times Bix 7 (50th Anniversary)

2024 marked the 50th running of the Quad-City Times Bix 7. This historic out-and-back race through downtown Davenport is for runners and walkers alike. The 7-Mile course starts at the base of Brady Street Hill and is lined with live bands and cheering crowds. Our team including Maria Llerena , Jose Escobar , and Ally McFarland were thrilled to be a part of this milestone year, as runners and elite legends alike, started at the Mississippi River and finished at the Midwest’s biggest post-race-party!

New Tech & Features

Enhanced Membership Flexibility and Visibility

We've improved member access and discounts, allowing administrators to customize access and pricing by member type and set specific access dates. Additionally, administrators can now see detailed membership information, including join date, duration, and membership start and end dates, providing a better understanding of their members.

Greater Flexibility and Insight for Charity Partners

We've upgraded charity partner accounts with new features, including a redesigned layout for easier navigation and the ability to manage and view relay teams. These enhancements provide greater flexibility and access to more detailed information.

Powerful New Features for Site Builder

We've improved our site builder with new components and a better user interface. Organizers can now add a blog component, integrating their marketing module blog directly into their site. The new "Event Info Bar" lets organizers highlight specific events with customizable data points. Existing components are now grouped for easier navigation, and the image component has been redesigned, merging "Image with Text" into the main image component for a smoother experience. Additionally, you can now add both background images and colors to components, ensuring visual continuity.

Expanded Language and International Support

We've added Slovak and Polish languages to our system and now offer translated consent forms, allowing participants to read waivers in their local language. Additionally, we've improved messaging filters for non-US events to better cater to international participants.

Streamlined Participant and Administrator Features

We've integrated team management into participant accounts, simplifying the process for team captains. Administrators can now schedule automated messages to engage participants post-registration and change participant allotments directly. We've added an AI companion to partner accounts for easier content creation and updated fonts across the app for a consistent look. Participants can now withdraw their applications, giving them more control and reducing customer service requests.
