Inspired by Scholastic Journalists and Their Publication Advisers

My superintendent friends would be mightily impressed by the full-fledged quest for learning that I observed during the past three days among the 6,200 scholastic journalists and nearly 600 newspaper and yearbook advisers who participated in the national high school journalism convention in Washington, D.C. An impressive, inspiring beehive of real-world skill building and new knowledge. Wow! If high school publication advisers as a group aren’t the most dedicated educators around, I hope someone will set me straight.
