How long world would keep celebrating Women’s Day when we are not ready to listen to Women’s Say? Bold and Courageous PM Modi has decided to do exactly that. He is giving upon his millions worth of global Social Media platform to Women for their ‘ Say’ and not to celebrate their ‘ Day’

The Beijing Declaration of 1995 and the Beijing Platform for Action are the most transformative global agenda for the achievement of gender equality. Today, 25 years later , its bold vision for gender equality. The latest report released few days back by UN states that the progress has fallen far short of the promises and expectations. .

The progress made in the filed of education and health, is not only overshadowed but threatened by rising inequality, runaway climate change, and increasingly exclusionary politics. The change is both necessary and possible. The game-changing efforts to scale up public services to meet women's rights, groundbreaking programs to prevent violence against women, and concrete strategies to get more women into power and a seat at the peace table are needed if the world has to benefit from ‘ better half’.

And above all we need daring political will to sacrifice the men’s addictions for power and publicity. PM Modi is doing exactly that.
