1. Latest News in Intelligent Automation

Amazon shared details on four of its new warehouse robots it’s testing to improve worker safety.

The irony is that many companies are using the AI technology—and don’t even realize it! The reason is that AI is built into the top online job sites.

When faced with a challenge, human beings are generally quick to first try to develop creative solutions. We tend to pick the most logical explanation we can find, ignoring all contradictory or unprovable hypotheses in the process. However, this irrational pattern of thinking could eventually sabotage our efforts to create an actual intelligent machine. A cognitive bias known as rationalization is one such phenomenon that is tricky or even dangerous for AI.

And they were often bested by AI pilots.

Among the biggest trends in technological advancement that have been raising such questions are automation and hyperautomation. The two are different yet interrelated. And while the goal of each is, ultimately, improving and standardizing processes in the most efficient way possible, they represent two types of approaches to deploying machines to streamline processes.
