Interesting comments by a reader on my book - Digital Construction Management

Dear Sir,

It was indeed a good read and I gone thru every page in last two days. I am not only impressed by the details captured in various chapters in a chronological way but mesmerised the way you treat the topic of construction by linking past -present and Future of construction with focus on DIGITAL CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT.

I found Chapter 1 very informative on economic relevance of paying attention the industry which is USD 10 Trillion having 6% of Global GDP.

It was pleasure to read chapter 3 -page 39 mentioning 4rth Industrial revolution.

Chapter 4 gave me insight into what is DIGITAL CONSTRUCTION and answers to as why it is imperative.

Page number 76 which talks about 6D BIM ( Project Life cycle Information). Honestly I feel this is the future of construction management.

Page number 83 in current application of AI In construction and last paragraph captures the issues which plagues the industry in a perfect manner. I like the concept of SMART ASSISTANT which can take care of real time issues of critical items across functions and departments which shall ensure deliver "PERFECT PROJECT EVERY TIME -TIMEM AFTER TIME"

Page number 89 in chapter 6 which handles the issues of Image Recognition .

I must give you credit for enhancing my historical knowledge in your page number 192 of Chapter 11 which talks about "OLD IS GOLD -ROMAN CONCRETE" Especially mention to Marcus Vitrius for his early contribution of Special Ingredients for ROMAN concrete making it stronger with passage of time.

The futuristic management thru Block Chain using Ethtereum in page 202 is very informative as I have personal interest in BLOCK CHAIN technology .

In all in all it was indeed a wonderful read and it’s a possession will always have a place in my library.
