International Day of Light: how are you celebrating?

Happy International Day of Light, 16 May!

We have had the International Year of Light (2015) we had International Day of Light Minus One (Lighting for Good, 16 May 2017) and now its time for the first ever International Day of Light, happily taking place during the UK Year of Engineering.

We are taking the lighting message out beyond the community that already lives and breathes it, to other people who also want to make the world happier, healthier, more energy efficient and a better place to be.

For example - helping those with sight loss by getting involved with the fantastic Thomas Pocklington Trust team and producing a guide to lighting in and around the home. Download it here free of charge

We are also sharing the joy of lighting in conjunction with MemCom as we celebrate the ILP's How To Be Brilliant series and talk about how others can achieve similar success. How To Be Brilliant, Brilliantly

Another way we reach out is our offer of help to the London Mayor as the draft London Plan is worked up. We'll be there for you

How are you celebrating the International Day of Light? Maybe there is someone you know who could do with your lighting help, support and encouragement. Give them a nudge!
